This was disclosed by Faisal Shuaib, executive director, NPHCDA, in an interview with Channels TV.

According to him, about 2.3 million Nigerians have registered to take the vaccines in less than 24 hours the portal was opened.

About allegation that the vaccines have been allocated, he said:

“We have not allocated these vaccines to the rich or those in the cities… those who require the vaccines are going to take it first, we will not compromise on that.”
