Nollywood actress, Helena Duru, has taken to social media to react to the numerous comments of people bashing female celebrities who are able to afford expensive things.
Many times, these female stars are accused of having sugar daddies or sleeping with rich men for favours especially when they happen to post photos of new luxury items they acquired.
Reacting to the backlash, Helena shared a video on her page where she mimicked people who were fond of saying Alhajis are responsible for buying the expensive cars for the actresses among other things.
Helena asked them to also tell their Alhajis to buy cars for them if it was that easy. She accused them of being envious too.
In her caption she wrote:
“I’m just getting started.
if e easy tell Alhaji make e buy for you. Most of you make too many assumptions .”

In a post that she put up on her Instagram story channel, Angela stated that if it was a woman that flaunted the kind of house the music mogul just acquired, the internet would have gone wild with assumptions.
According to her, people would cook up lies and assume that she slept with men to be able to pull the feat.
