– Paul Pogba has sated his winning goal against Fulham as beautiful as he gave United the win over Fulham
– The France international struck in the second half to put the Red Devils back on the Premier League table
– Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s men moved above city rivals Man City to reclaim top spot in the league standings
Paul Pogba has described his winning-goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage beautiful as they moved back to the top of the Premier League table, Daily Mail.
United came back from a goal down to win the game by 2-1 as the Red Devils are now two points clear of Man City on the league standings.
It was Pogba’s second match-winner in the English topflight division this season after the victory over Burnley at Turf Moor in the past week.
The Frenchman told BT Sport he was delighted with how he had struck the ball with his weaker foot, and insisted it was better than his winner against Burnley.
“I hit the ball well.
“I didn’t expect it with the left foot like this but if you don’t try, then you don’t score.
“It was a beautiful goal and beautiful win.”
Asked if it was better than his winner at Burnley, he said:
“I would say yes because it was with the left foot. It wasn’t my favourite goal ever but a goal is a goal.”
United will face old enemy Liverpool in the 4th Round of the FA Cup on Sunday, January 24, before taking on Sheffield United in midweek.
