Nigerian cleric and general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has a lot to be grateful for after so many years of leading his renowned ministry.

Just recently, the highly respected spiritual leader was celebrated on the occasion of his 40th anniversary as the G.O of RCCG.

A special post was dedicated to the 78-year-old on the PR page of the RCCG on social media platform, Instagram.

The handler gave thanks to God on behalf of the man of God and prayed for him.

Adeboye became the G.O of the RCCG ministry on January 21, 1981, and still holds the position till present.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Adeboye advised Nigerians to continue wearing face masks as a preventive measure against COVID-19.

The man of God gave the advice after Pastor Biodun Lawal of Christ Embassy mocked other clerics and Christians for wearing a face mask in church.

The Redeemed pastor has continued to emphasise on the need to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols.
