Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has decided to use his own platform to challenge the reason behind celebrities suddenly creating massive awareness over coronavirus.

In the post the music star shared via his Instagram story, he disclosed that corona is real and killing people, and he liked the zeal behind the gesture but also questioned the motive.

The entertainer stated that even though people have been dying of hunger, the only thing other celebrities have been talking about is the virus.

Seun also mentioned that they are probably concerned and had to voice out because the virus could kill them but only poor people would die of hunger.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Seun Kuti was accused by investigative journalist, Temitayo Ayetoto, of pulling out a gun during a street brawl in Ikeja.

Ayetoto in a series of posts shared via Twitter on Saturday, December 12, claimed that she personally witnessed the singer pull out a gun and assault guests who were attending a party on his street.

Telling her side of the story, the journalist claimed that she left an event which was going on around the area at about 7 pm and came out to find Kuti ranting about cars which were parked on the streets, which also affected his gate.

Narrating further, the journalist claimed that there was a heated exchange between the angry music star and another man who blocked access with his vehicle, and the singer eventually landed him a blow.
