And with Man City currently trailing their rivals, Guardiola has come out to admit United fully deserve the place at the top.

“I am pretty sure Ole is happier than me – but I am not concerned too much about United. If United are there it is because they deserve it,” Mirror UK quoted the Spaniard saying.

“Before I landed here people said that the real Premier League is where everyone can lose to everyone. I didn’t see it until now,” he added.

Guardiola’s admission came just hours ahead of City’s trip to Stamford Bridge where they are scheduled to take on Chelsea.
