A woman identified as Charlotte Kabaseke has taken to social media to celebrate her achievement after bagging a PhD in law from the University of Wuhan, China.

The Ugandan woman said she embarked on the journey on September 4, 2017, adding that she was thankful because nobody told her that it was going to be a rough one.

In her words:

“In I am very thankful that I did not get someone to tell me the candid truth about what my exact Ph.D. experience would be, otherwise, I would have reconsidered my decision. For example, I did not expect to feel so stupid very many times and I never expected that I would cry like a little girl so many times.
